Yeah, they picked Louisiana, and at least one map will be in Nawlins, I'm guessing. They could do one for the French Quarter and one for Canal Street and over due to their differences, in my opinion, but I'd also like to see a campaign in the swamps or even on the Pontchartrain Bridge. I figured the original four survivors would be the lime-light holders of the series. That's cool though -- hopefully you'll be able to switch between the roster of eight, but for some reason I doubt that'll happen. Disappointed in the diversity though. Seems like there's three hicks, and one guy in a suit. And still no hotcops. :(

I only see one. :erm: There's a rich white man, a redneck, a black lady, and a business-looking black man. That's actually very accurate because over half of the people in big cities of Louisiana are black, and there are a lot of wealthy people in New Orleans. There are also some rednecks, but mostly in the north. I don't see how the other two are hicks though...

huh? Posts: 436 Group: Members Member #107 Joined: Dec 3, 2008	Looks terrible and i'll leave it at that. I'm extremely disappointed with Valve's in the past years with steam and such. They've managed to hack up L4D, CS, Team Fortress. I can't think of any game they've made besides Half life that was actually good. Before anyone goes says anything to me L4D was made by Turtle Rock Studios, CS was made by the cs team and team fortress was made by some australian guys back in the quake days.

Zombie Posts: 24 Group: Members Member #178 Joined: Apr 5, 2009 Gender Male	so they've added what's called a charger in, which is kind of like a rhino infected that can run through all 4 survivors while pinning the last one down, then they added in a wandering witch so at least now she may be a little bit harder to deal with than, "who wants to crown her this time?" I can't help but wonder if she counts as one of the 3 new infected. What I'm looking forward too are the uncommon common infected like the Hazmat suit infected who are immune to fire, the 20 new weapons (or is it 20 total weapons), and the panic events that actually make you run to where you can't camp out under a pipe until it's over. Oh, and the changing paths through certain areas and how it rewards you for taking longer, more difficult pathways through a scenario like the fire rounds. I mean it seems to be adding new things to it. I just wish I didn't have to buy a whole new game for all the extra conent they planned. But oh well, it's Valve and they haven't given me any reason to doubt them before so I'm not gonna start now. Oh, and the characters are a conman (Nick), a reporter (Rochelle), a high school coach (ironically named Coach), and a mechanic (Ellis). if I may copy and paste a tidbit: Quote: In this mode, the game is guided by the "AI Director", an artificial intelligence engine that monitors the players' performance and alters the scenario to provide more or less challenge for the players as they progress. In Left 4 Dead 2, the AI Director has been improved to encourage more participation by players, forcing players through difficult gauntlets to reach the extraction point, and the ability to alter elements of the level such as placement of walls, lighting, or weather conditions. The AI Director will also be improved to reward players for taking longer or more difficult paths through each episode by providing more useful equipment, such as incendiary ammo, along these riskier paths, and even alter elements of the levels to create varied paths based on the choice of these paths. Players will have access to more and improved weapons, including melee weapons such as a frying pan, an axe, baseball bat, and chainsaw.

Even my brother is more interested in it and he didn't like the first game at all; he said he liked the idea of having levels/scenarios when it's daylight xD
