Posts: 4,845 Group: Administration Member #2 Joined: Sep 19, 2008 Gender Female Favourite RE RE3 & RE4 XBL Gamertag Lendvai	Posted Image Name of story: Mall of the Dead Theme: Zombie ( based on Dawn of the Dead and Dead Rising ) Setting: A mall with traditional stores; clothing, jewelry, food court, appliances, furniture, etc Additional information: I know there's a lot on our plate for RP's but it doesn't hurt to have some options :P I also expect this to be a more laid back roleplay for the most part and a little humorous instead of a constant 'go go go' feeling. Plot/Story: The roleplay will begin with quick intro's to your character and within a post or two, you make your way to the mall. Alternatively, you can work there ( like the security guards from Dawn of the Dead ) and be already present in the mall. Once all of the characters are inside, it'll be locked up and won't be 'breached' until later on in the roleplay. I imagine it'd be in four parts: 1. Character Wave 1 - All of our first characters get to/ are at the mall. It's safe for now, as not much attention has been drawn to it. Have your fun and explore the mall and learn more about your fellow survivors. 2. Character Wave 2 - A van carrying survivors is seen and is directed to the back of the mall where they're welcomed and rescued by the current mall survivors ( if you're interested in having more than one or two characters, then some will arrive at this time in the van ). Meet the new survivors and have some fun, whether it's picking off zombies from the roof or playing a game of golf in the sports store. Since the van arrived, zombies have been attracted to the area, thus a plan needs to be formed for an eventual escape. 3. Breach - The zombies have broken through barricades and locked doors and slowly start to flood the mall. Will you initiate the escape or will you have a little more fun; bashing the zombies in? 4. Escape - Whatever plan is formed, we follow and attempt to escape the mall. As you can see, it's very similar to Dawn of the Dead with the fun of Dead Rising mixed in. I've debated having insane people, but I think it'll take the fun out of things. They cannot all appear at the mall at the same time. He wears black jeans, a navy blue sweatshirt and a blackshirt. Most of the times, he has a light sea-green rubber band bracelet his friend, Stacy, gave him before she died in a car accident. Currently a senior. He was able to find some clothes to make him look like Drake from Uncharted 2. Likes/Dislikes: Likes playing sports and working out. Spends most of his time hitting the gym and on video games. He greatly enjoys Cherry pepsi and junk food. He hates homework and waiting. Sometimes friends want to hang out with him but he tells them off. Personality: A nice person who can get stubborn and quickly angry. Most people who have gotten on his bad side became his enemies but those who didn't became good friends. Brief History: As a child, Mark never had an older sibling to look up to and always liked getting in trouble. Whether it was break stuff at home or putting bugs in his teacher's coffee mug or drawer. Later, he began playing Volleyball for his middle school team and his grades began to drop slightly. His parents forced him off the team and as a result, became more intrseted in video games. During 8th grade, he became friends with Stacy Hart, who had died in a car accident the day Mark asked her out and she accepted. she was hit by a speeding car, launched into a coma and died. This accident, proved to be no accident when his friend Jerry told him he was in the car with Stacy's ex-boyfriend. Later in the week, Mark assaulted Stacy's ex and brutalised his body and left his crippled body outside his parents house with a tape recorder. The parents founf their son's brutalised body and listened to the tape recorder. Greg, the ex-boyfriend and one of Mark's closest teamates and friend, was confesing to the murder of Stacy Hart and then the stopped. Mark was charged with the assault on Greg but it was never proven (Mark had pummeled Greg with gloves and boots on and got rid of them. No DNA that was Mark's was found). Greg lasted 9 weeks in the hospital and had warned to press charges. One week later, Greg was never heard from... If it was somebody Mark never got along with, it was Stacy's friend Pam. Whenever she was around, there was bound to be a fight between them. It had all started when Stacy joined the cheerleading squad in Mark's high school. Pam, in a rival high school also joined the cheerleading squad. When she saw that Stacy was hanging out more with Mark than her brother Greg, the boyfriend, she assumed that she was cheating on him. She went up one time and slapped Mark and told Stacy off. Greg then talked with Mark and Stacy about this and proved his paranoid sister wrong. Not convinced, she did some investigation which lead her to a friend hug and a bit of teasing from the cheerleader to the football player and vice versa. She concluded she was right and gave enough evidence for Greg. He broke up with Stacy and stopped allying himself with Mark. At one point, Greg heard from various people around his school that Mark and Stacy had made out. Though it was un-intentional, Greg concluded his sister was right and about a week later, Greg took Jerrry with him to 'hang out'. What he was actually doing was following Stacy around during her daytime job. After she walked out, Greg stalked her and then ran her down on the way to her car and then escaped before anyone saw anything. Character Wave: 1, in the mall. Likes/Dislikes: Victoria likes action and danger, which is why she often threw herself into situations that would often cost her a great deal. She's lost some great friends along the way but she doesn't let it show. She likes working with guns, and weapons and the adrenaline of pulling off a great heist. She hates when people get in her way, or underestimate her - but sometimes she lets it slide if necessary. Brief History: Victoria grew up on the rough side of life but she never let it hold her back. She's been wanted for crimes such as armed robbery, possession, assault and possession with intent to sell. When she was caught, she worked out a deal with one of the head officers and became a CI; a confidential informant. She went back doing what she did; dealing and working with her usual crew but she was forced to wear a wire. At this point, she will introduce herself as Lily Andrews and carries around a fake ID and information to prove it if needed. Personality: Victoria can be cold, aggressive and serious when she wants to be but she can also be gentle and caring if she needs to be. She often masks her true personality when she uses her fake identities. Lily Andrews is a supposed high school teacher, so she will try to come off differently, but her true personality may shine through. She'll also appear weaker to get help or get what she wants. His hair reaches just above his forehead, and is usually combed out of his eyes. He wears a tight gray t-shit, distinct muscles shown below it, and dark, navy, camouflage pants. He wears green, steel-toed, boots that go up just past his shin. In the shoes legging, which goes up past the shin, is a metal piece covered with padding so that nothing can harm his shins. Niko has a three small magnums. One, always in hand, and two in a leg holster. He has an M16 strapped to his shoulders, the cord letting it dangle behind his back, and a katana in a back-holster, for emergency situations where he runs out of ammo and can't run away. Likes/Dislikes: Niko likes weapons. Every since he was a little kid, he was always on the firing range. He's a specialist, most people call him, even if he's never gotten a certificate. He enjoys the company of people who are casual. Anyone who can talk about nothing and enjoy a cold beer are alright in his book. Niko has always disliked people who were 'snooty'. He says they 'dampen the mood'. Personality: Niko is very casual and flirty. He's never looking for anything serious in a relationship, but he enjoys having them, nonetheless. He's a very good socialist and is adept at reading people and their emotions, without talking to them. Brief History: Niko was raised in a small household. He didn't have any blood related siblings, but he did have three boys and a girl he considered family. All younger than he. When the zombies attacked, everyone, his parents and the kids included, didn't make it. He felt bad for not being able to save them. Later, when he as confronted with them, he was forced to kill them. Their necro-lives, or his life. Niko had been okay the first couple days of the invasion, fighting alone and staying alive. Raiding a house every now and then. Securing it, eating some food, then moving on, as to not stay in one place for too long. But eventually, he was attacked, and was forced to move into the city. Name: Stan Bouke Age: 22 Appearance: About 6'1", 185lbs. Brown (but shaved off) hair, blue eyes. Fairly athletic/muscular looking. Usually wears blue jeans with a dark colored t-shirt, along with vans sneakers. The only accesories he ever always has with him are his wallet, his phone, his watch (on his wrist), and his house keys. Likes/Dislikes: Has strong interest in animals, medieval weaponary, literature, history, physical activity of any sort, and cooking. As far as people go, he's drawn to people who are laid back and humorous, while being intelligent and serious at the same time. He tends to dislike people who are constantly negative or who don't think rationally (if at all), and take everything FAR too seriously. Personality: Stan is usually known for being extremely laid back. While he does tend to joke about things most of the time, he knows when things are supposed to be serious. He's very good with people, as he tries to gve everyone a chance to make an impression on him before he thinks anything ill of them, and makes sure to treat everyone equally, no matter what his opinion on them may be. He never goes behind anyone's back or breaks his word, and is always as honest as situations allow him to be (say only the truth, or say nothing at all). He's also known for making things last longer than other people would (for instance: a bag a chips could last him a month). Brief History: Stan, along with his younger brother Shawn, was born and raised in a partially rural area by his strict but fair parents, Martha and Cornelius. Along with doing a lot of work around the property, such as cleaning, taking care of firewood, mowing the lawn and whatnot, he also worked a lot with animals, due to his family adopting many animals for a short time period each to temporarily care for them until someone else was able to take them. His spare time was spent mostly participating in physical activities, or reading books from his father's collection, as well as watching the history channel (history was something that always interested him). As his family didn't have that much money to spare, Stan learned to take care of things and make them last as long as he possibly could. Stan had moved away at the age of 19, and has since then lived in a decent sized apartment in the city, where he quickly became very friendly with the landlord, as well as his neighbors. He works full time at his uncle's small resturant at the mall, which is a job that he admits he wouldn't trade away for anything. Character Wave: Character Wave 1
